It's about community....
It's about defaulting to forgiveness. It's about loving when you're tired. It's about listening when you would rather be speaking. It's about humility, vulnerability, and dignity. It's about sitting in the dirt with someone and not trying to fix the mess, but rather sitting in the ashes and crying with them. It's about the impromptu dancing on a Donut Friday. It's about the moments where no one has any answers and there are only more questions. It's about being ok with not being ok. It's about raspberry hot chocolate and hiding under blankets with God. It's about flip flops on a sunny day and grilling outside for the first time in the end of winter. It's about the fun, the crazy, and penguin jokes. It's about the bread and the wine.
It's about loving God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind and loving your neighbor as yourself. It's about the fact that we have not loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. That because God has loved us, we ought to love one another and though none of us have ever seen God, because we love one another, God abides in us and his love is made complete in us.

A congregation consists of various moods, ideas, needs, experiences, gifts and injuries, desires and disappointments, blessings and losses, intelligence and stupidity, living in proximity and in respect of one another and believingly in worship of God. It is not easy and it is not simple."
