In the fringes.....

"And where ever he came, in villages, cities, or countryside, they laid the sick in the marketplaces and implored him that they might touch even the fringe of his garment.  And as many as touched it were made well."  -Mark 6.56

Kairos - Mark keeps pointing to Jesus as the Son of God, over and over and over.  In the most minute details. Not to relive chapter 5 again, but the encounter with the woman who was bleeding for 12 years is told.  Her epic moment of faith as she reached out to touch just the edge of Jesus' garment, believing the prophecy that when Messiah comes there will be healing in his wings (in the tassels, the edge of his cloak - Malachi 4).   In Mark 5, it was one woman's profession of faith, and how quickly the fame of Jesus spread and grew.  Now it was not just one woman, but villages and cities and the countryside...  Everywhere he went.  Wondering what it would look like if we did the same?  If we sought to find healing in the wings and sought our protection in the rock of our salvation.
